What we do today

• Plastic-free packaging. Orders ship in recyclable cardboard with paper-based void fill. No single-use plastic mailers.
• Original brand boxes preserved.We don't repackage to save material — your shoes arrive in the manufacturer's shoe box inside an outer carton.
• UK fulfilment.We hold UK stock so your order doesn't fly internationally each time.
• No overstock dumping. Past-season pieces are sold via discount over time, never destroyed.

Where we know we can do better

• Materials.Many platform sneakers use synthetic soles and mixed materials that are hard to recycle. We're having that conversation with the brand.
• Returns. Each return has a carbon cost. The best thing you can do is order your usual size carefully — see our Size Guide.
• Carbon offsetting. Not yet implemented. On the list once order volume justifies a verified scheme.

Care & longevity

The most sustainable shoe is the one you keep wearing. Some quick tips:

• Rotate between two pairs to give each one a rest day
• Use shoe trees for leather styles to keep them shaped
• Spot clean rather than machine washing
• Avoid wearing leather in heavy rain
• A cobbler can replace heel tips and soles for a fraction of replacement cost
